These are the key goals of Eyes Off Eugene.

Primary Goals

• Remove Flock Systems
  • The complete removal of publicly owned Flock surveillance cameras from Eugene and Springfield
• Cancellation of Existing Contracts
  • Ensure that any existing contracts with Flock Safety are fully cancelled.

Secondary Goals

• Educate the Public 
  • Build community awareness against surveillance technologies and empowering more voices to join the fight
  • Build a model for other communities to follow
• Local Legislative Action
  • Influencing city councils to pass ordinances preventing the future implementation of similar surveillance systems
• Expansion to State Level Advocacy
  • Engaging in statewide advocacy to pass laws that restrict the use of mass surveillance technologies and establish strong privacy safeguards

Stretch Goals

• National Impact
  • Aspiring to contribute to a broader national movement that addresses the constitutional threats posed by such surveillance technologies and potentially influences national legislation
