On July 10, the Eugene Police Commission held its monthly meeting with policy for the Flock Safety surveillance system on the agenda. Eugeneans showed up in numbers to voice their disapproval. Commissioners were moved by comments about this technology making us less safe and delayed a vote on the ALPR policy. Thank you Eugene for speaking out about this dangerous new system!
